Ingredients
In addition to SmartPAK™ cartridges, Freestyle at
McDonald’s uses Bag-in-Box (BIB) ingredients
including sweeteners (HFCS & NNS) and Diet Coke®.
The Coca-Cola brand also pours from the McBulk
Coke Tank in the back of your restaurants.
NOTE:
dispensers in the lobby as well as the ABS dispenser in
the drive thru.
Crew Dashboard
If one of these ingredients is unavailable, the
Crew Dashboard will display the product in a
red square with a ‘Sold Out’ alert.
Freestyle
®
and the
McBulk Coke Tank
Operational Basics
If the primary McBulk Coke Tank for
your restaurant is empty, then
Coca-Cola® will be unavailable on all
dispensers, including Freestyle.

Go to the backroom and follow
your restaurant’s normal protocol
from one McBulk Coke Tank to
another.

The Electric Syrup Pump for Coke®
should be blinking red. Click the
black button to reset it and wait
NOTE: If the light is solid red, then the
pump cannot be reset. Immediately call
1-800-241-COKE (2653).

Return to the Crew Dashboard
on the dispenser’s touchscreen
and tap the red “Sold Out” alert
to reset.
