If the Code Blue Telephone call disconnects shortly after the other party answers, deploy command 400# in programming mode and test again. This commands the 4100 to disregard all hang up commands from the phone companies switch. Alternatively, ask the phone company to stop this service.

Why does Code Blue IA4100 Telephone delay switching to call answered?
    • J
      julie29Aug 8, 2025
If the IA4100 Telephone delays or never switches to call answered after the called party answers, the person answering the call needs to speak up and say something longer then 'hello'. The person answering can also enter any DTMF digit from their keypad, which will mark the call as answered. The customer can increase the transmit gain on their PBX as well. Alternatively, program 531# (this is not ADA compliant) to mark the call as answered when it dials out, whether the call is answered or not.
