8-12 Periodic Maintenance and Adjustment
NOTE:
The engine oil should be between the
minimum and maximum level marks.
1. Maximum level mark 2. Minimum level mark
3. Dipstick 4. Engine oil filler cap
6. If the engine oil is at or below the
minimum level mark, add sufficient oil of
the recommended type to raise it to the
correct level.
7. Insert the dipstick into the oil filler hole,
and then tighten the oil filler cap.
8. Install the console.
To Change the Engine O il ( With or
Without O il Filter Cartridge Replacement)
1. Remove the console. (See page 8-9 for
console removal and installation
procedures.)
2. Place an oil pan under the engine to
collect t
he u
sed oil, and then remove the
engine oil filler cap.
3. Remove the engine oil drain bolt to drain
the oil from the crankcase.
