Troubleshooting Instructions
If a fault occurs, count the number of red flashes between pauses and refer to the table below:
Red Flashes
Cause
Battery high voltage
Battery low voltage
Charge timeout caused by battery pack not
reaching required voltage. Charger output
was reduced to high temperature
Check battery: battery could not be trickle
charged up to minimum voltage.
Over-temperature: charger shut down due
to high internal temperature.
Charger internal fault
If the charger is left connected to AC power supply, a refresh charge will occur after 10 days if the battery
voltage has dropped below a pre-programmed level. If a refresh charge tries to start, but the AC power is
disconnected, the charger will wait 8 days for AC to be resorted. At this point, the charger will go into sleep
mode and a DC disconnect will be required to reset the charger.
The charger can be connected to any three prongs 110-240-volt home outlet with available minimum 15
amps of current. To avoid the risk of electrical shorting, the battery charger must be grounded through a
properly installed three prong outlet. Do not use a two-prong adapter.
Ensure all cords and wires are in locations that will not be driven over, covered or present a tripping hazard.
