Appendix A - Silicagel replacement instruction
Breather’s silicagel replacement instruction for hidraulic
closing
1. Unscrews the two A2 screws of the hose clamp on the
air breather bottom part.
2. Remove the breather’s oil pocket and empty it.
3. Leave these parts unassembled .
4. Unscrew the n. 3 screws of the upper cup and remove it.
5. Remove the gasket which is placed on the cross
6. Turn the breather upside down and empty it.
7. Keep the breather upside down and blow inside it
with compressed air to remove dust and/or all silicagel
crystals.
8. Fill the breather up with the same quantity of silicagel.
9. Put back the gasket on the cross.

mechanical closing
1. Unscrew the n. 3 screws of the upper cup and remove it.
2. Remove the gasket which is placed on the cross.
3. Turn the breather upside down and empty it.
4. Keep the breather upside down and blow inside it
with compressed air to remove dust and/or all silicagel
crystals.
5. Fill the breather up with the same quantity of silicagel.
6. Place back the gasket on the cross.
7. Screw in the upper cap with the n. 3 screws.

Unscrew the A2 screws and remove
the hose clamp. Empty it.
During the silica gel replacement handle the dehydrating
breather components in order to avoid any surface damages
(sketches, mechanical shock)
We suggest to replace the silica gel when 1/3 of the volume has
changed color.
