• Place the water cleaner in a dry and clean place, by paying attention not to damage the power
supply cable and the high-pressure hose.
WARNING
• The water cleaner is sensitive to frost.
In order to avoid the formation of ice inside the water cleaner, it is possible to make the water
cleaner suck a car anti-frost liquid before stopping it after having referred to a Skilled Engineer,
because the liquid which is pumped could damage the gaskets of the high-pressure pump.
In cold rooms, if it was not possible to protect the water cleaner as explained above, before starting
it, bring it in a warm room for a sufficient time which is needed to melt the possible ice formed
inside it.
The lack of compliance with these simple prescriptions can cause serious damage to the machine.
7. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
« CAUTION
• Each cleaning and maintenance intervention must be carried out only after having perfor-
med the operations described in the paragraph “Stopping”.
In particular, you must remember to always disconnect the power supply.
• To guarantee the safety of the water cleaner, only use original spare parts supplied or
approved by the Producer.
• The hose pipe, the connectors and the high-pressure lances are important for safety: only
use the ones recommended by the Producer.
7.1 ORDINARY MAINTENANCE
Carry out the operations described in the paragraph “Stopping” and observe what indicated in the
table below.

Check power supply cable, high-pressure hose, connectors,
water gun, lance pipe.
If one or more parts are damaged, do not absolutely
use the cleaner and apply to a Skilled Engineer.
Water inlet filter cleaning (23).
For the
cleaning, it is generally enough to place the filter under
running water or to blow it with compressed air. In the most
difficult cases, use a calcareous deposit inhibitor or replace it.
NOTE
The cleaning of the water inlet filter for KE Super and KE Xtra
must be
carried out by a Skilled Engineer (see also the table
relating to the extraordinary maintenance).
