Installation
Software
Disk
This
allows
you
to
install
your
own
filing
system.
This
will
allow
you
to
reserve
an
area
on
the
disk
without
a
partition.
This
area
can
be
set
aside
for
some
special
use,
such
as
for
a
UNIX
operating
system.
To
have
the
selected
partition
accessible
after
booting
up,
this
must
be
set
to
Yes.
If
set
to
No
the
selected
partition
will
exist,
but
will
not
be
accessible.
NOTE:
/f
you
are
using
Kickstart
1.3
ROMs,
the
partitions
will
be
automatically
mounted
at
power
up,
unless
Automount
is
set
to
No.
If
you
are
using
Kickstart
1.2,
The
partitions
will
be
mounted
during
BindDrivers
in
the
startup-
sequence.
NOTE:
To
change
any
of
the
following
values,
click
on
the
box,
delete
the
existing
information,
type
the

system

being

can
only
be
modified
when

Custom
Filing

moved

each
DMA

MaxTransfer
is
only
available
when

the
number
of
blocks
reserved
at
the
beginning
of
the
selected
partition
for
DOS
usage.
This
value
defaults
to
2,
and
should
not
normally
be
set
to
less
than
2.
