Maintenance and repair of the dryer

Renew solenoid valves
The pilot valves equipped with solenoids must be replaced every 2 years, even if
there is no sign of wear or damage.
To replace these part, proceed as follows:
Release pressure from dryer and shut down the unit (see page 39).
Disconnect cable adapter (1)
from the pilot valve with coil (2).
Loosen both screws (4) to
remove the pilot valve with
solenoid (2) from the solenoid
valve.
Repeat above steps for all
solenoid valves.
Mount new pilot valves with
solenoids and tighten the
screws.
To replace a complete solenoid
valve, proceed as follows:
Loosen both Allen screws (5).
Replace solenoid valve (2, 3).
Secure it by retightening the
Allen screws.
Finally:
Reconnect all cable adapters.
Solenoid valves
If no other maintenance work is to be carried out: Restart the dryer (see page
41), and check solenoid valves for tightness and proper functioning.
