STOPPING THE ENGINE
When it comes time to stop the engine, you may want to slow the engine down to a low idle speed
and allow to run for a period of time to assist in turbo cooling if equipped. Then, simply press the red
OFF button or turn the key to the OFF position. This will de-energize the fuel solenoid on mechanical
engines or the engine ECU Run/Stop circuit on electronic engines. In some cases, the module will
send an engine STOP command over the J1939 CAN Bus to shut down the engine. Once the engine
has stopped, the status line will display Manual Off.
