In this case, check the CO pressure regulator setting, a setting of 75 psig is recommended, and relieve pressure from the carbonator tank. Another potential cause is a water valve that won't open. Inspect the electrical connection to the water valve, check the coil's resistance (it should be 9 ohms), and verify voltage at the coil when the brand button is pressed.

  If your carbonated drinks are flat, it could be due to a couple of reasons. First, check if the CO is out and replace it if necessary. Second, the carbonator tank might be 100% filled because the city water pressure exceeds the carbonator tank CO pressure regulator setting. The CO setting for the carbonator tank should be 75 psig, with a maximum water pressure of 60 psig. If needed, install a water pressure regulating valve.

  If the agitator isn't turning, first ensure the unit has power by restoring power or plugging in the unit. Also, check the upper ice chute assembly for proper assembly and operation, as an improperly installed assembly may not activate the reed switch. Other potential causes include an inoperable reed switch (replace it), a defective electrical board driver circuit (replace the main control board), a gear motor with an open circuit (replace the gear motor), or a broken wire in the 2-wire harness leading to the reed switch (repair or replace the harness). Additionally, ensure the upper ice chute engages outside the lower chute, and snap front of chute into place. Check for a bad connection at the main control board, J3, pins 2 &3. In this case repair connection or replace 2-wire harness.

Finally, if the city water pressure supply is low or inconsistent, consider using a booster pump if the dynamic water pressure drops below 40 psig.

  If the carbonator pump motor is disabled, check the enable/disable switch on the carbonator pump terminal box and enable it, if necessary. Also, if the probes were dry, the unit was powered up, water was not turned on, and the carbonator did not fill, this results in a 5 minute timeout. Unplugging the unit and plugging it in will reset the unit and start the carbonator pump. Another reason may be that the water service was interrupted for more than 5 minutes. Unplugging the unit and plugging it in will reset the unit and start the carbonator pump.
