Exterior Component Removal and Installation
AIR BREAK INSTALLATION
CAUTION
When servicing, use caution and monitor the unit
for leaks before installing the unit into the product
opening.
After installing the air break, install:
Rear access cover
Upper front cover
Lower front cover
Kickplate
Door panel
Tub side cover and gasket between air break and tub
wall
Lower rack
Rear insulation
Top and side insulation
INSTALL THE AIR BREAK
Lubricate the hose barb of the water inlet valve with
soapy water.
Place the spring clamp over the S-hose.
Connect the S-hose to the water inlet valve.
Use pliers to compress the spring clamp, and slide it
down the S-hose onto the water inlet valve.
Lubricate the hose barbs of the air break with soapy
water.
Install the spring clamps onto the air break hoses.
Connect the two water softener hoses to the air
break.
Compress the spring clamps, and slide them toward
the air break.
Connect the wire connectors to the air break.
