Note: Using location access does make more demands on your battery. If you need to
save battery life then you can turn it off, though when the switch is off, your device
won’t be able to find your precise location or share it with any apps.

Setting a screen unlock pattern
You can set a screen unlock pattern. Once the screen has locked, it needs to be drawn
correctly in order to unlock the screen.
• Swipe up the screen in home screen, Tap > Security & location > Screen lock >
Pattern.
• Follow the onscreen instructions to draw the unlock pattern.
• Draw the same unlock pattern again and tap CONFIRM.
• Choose notifications and tap DONE.
Setting a screen unlock PIN
You can set a numeric PIN to unlock your phone. Once the screen has locked, it needs
to be entered correctly in order to unlock the phone.
• Swipe up the screen in home screen, Tap > Security & location > Screen lock >
PIN.
• Enter a password containing at least 4 digits.
