Filters & Tank Agitation - 3000 Litre
Cleaning Filters
Filters are used to stop solids entering the
liquid system and blocking lines, nozzles
or damaging the pump.
The Pinto main tank is fi tted with a basket
fi lter.The system also incorporates a large
suction fi lter, boom pressure fi lter, nozzle
fi lters and a small fi lter is fi tted to the foam
marker.
1 Always ensure the basket fi lter is in
place when fi lling the main tank
through the lid.
2 All fi lters should be cleaned
regularly or after each spraying
period.
If the fi lter screen is damaged,
replace with a new screen.
Pressure Filter
The pressure line filter (located on
the control panel) should be cleaned
regularly or after each main tank has been
emptied.
To clean the pressure line fi lter:
1 Completely stop all sprayer
functions.
2 Open the valve at the bottom of the
fi lter to ensure all pressure is
removed from the fi lter.
3 Remove the outer fi lter bowl, and
then remove the fi lter and thoroughly
clean it before re-assembling the
fi lter.
Suction Fil ter
The suction filter should be cleaned
regularly or after each main tank has been
emptied.
To clean the suction fi lter:
1 Completely stop all sprayer
functions.
2 Turn the Suction Selector Valve to
“Off” position to shut Off liquid from
the main tank.
3 Remove the outer fi lter screw and
bowl from the suction fi lter, and then
remove the fi lter element.
Thoroughly clean the fi lter parts, then
re-assemble the fi lter.
4 Return the Suction Selector valve to
source from the main tank.
Be careful not to damage or deform the mesh or
O-ring while cleaning and refi tting the fi lters.
NOTE
Always wear protective
gloves when cleaning fi lters
containing toxic chemicals.
WARNING
Clean the pressure line fi lter regularly.
(4) Return the Suction Selector Valve to source from
main tank.
(3) Remove & clean the suction fi lter regularly.
(2) Turn the Suction Selector Valve to “Off” position.
