Troubleshooting
Continued
1. Remove cad cell wires from
the ignition controller.
2. Start the burner.
3. Jumper F-F terminals on the
ignition controller.
Does
ignition controller
lockout?
Replace ignition
controller.
Measure resistance
across cell leads (F-F
terminals on the ignition
controller).
Is resistance
zero?
Correct short
circuit.
Is resistance
greater than 1500
ohms?
Open transformer and
clean cell face and seat
firmly into holder.
Is resistance
greater than 1500
ohms?
Is the over fire
draft correct?
Is the CO2
correct?
Replace the cad
cell.
Adjust for
proper CO2.
Adjust barometric
damper.
Cad cell and ignition
controller are OK.
