8. OPERATE THE TRACTOR
Sc2400 Operator’s Manual
●ALWAYS travel at a speed that allows the tractor to
remain controlled and stable.
●Avoid engaging the differential lock while traveling
on roads as this can cause the tractor to become
uncontrollable.
●While traveling on roads, do not turn the steering
wheel suddenly as this can lead the tractor to
become unstable and result an extremely
dangerous situation.
●While on roads, NEVER attempt to operate an
implement. During driving on road with an
implement attached to the 3-point hitch, put the 3-
point hitch control lever in its raised position and
lock it with the position stop knob. Do not fully close
the hydraulic flow control/stop knob in order to
keep any implements in their raised position while
the tractor is traveling.
Closing the knob could cause damage to the
hydraulic lift circuit.
●When driving the tractor on roads, NEVER exceed
10 mph (16 km/h).
3. Move the Tractor Manually while the Engine is Stopped
Setting the Hydro Static Transmission (HST)
pressure release lever to the ON position makes
the tractor freely move.
●Do not operate the Hydro Static Transmission
(HST) pressure release lever on a slope. Setting
the Hydro Static Transmission (HST) pressure
release lever to the ON position on the slope
makes the axles freely move, so that the tractor
will be out of control.
●Before setting the Hydro Static Transmission
(HST) pressure release lever to the ON position,
park the tractor in a flat place and engage the
parking brake securely.
●Do not operate the Hydro Static Transmission
(HST) pressure release lever while the engine is
running.
IMPORTANT: Avoid damage.
●Moving the tractor in an improper way may
damage the transmission. Move the tractor by
hand only.
• Do not move the tractor with using other
machine.
• Do not tow the tractor.
