8. OPERATE THE TRACTOR

4. Transport the Tractor on a Trailer
Avoid injury:
●Exercise extreme care when loading or 
unloading the tractor to or from a trailer or 
truck.
●Close the fuel shut-off valve.
NOTE
●Use a heavy-duty trailer to transport the tractor.
1. Drive the tractor forward onto the trailer.
2. Lower any implement onto the trailer deck.
3. Engage the parking brake securely.
4. Turn off the engine.
5. Remove the key from the starter key switch.
6. Close the fuel shut-off valve.
7. Tie down the tractor to the trailer with heavy-duty 
straps, chains or cables. Direct both front and rear 
straps down and outward from the tractor.
IMPORTANT
●The trailer must have signs and lights required by 
law.
●When transporting the tractor on a trailer, the Slow 
Moving Vehicle (SMV) emblem may have to be 
removed to comply with local laws. For details, 
please consult your local Cub Cadet Yanmar 
dealer.
