  Your Cub Cadet Trimmer might be dying or accelerating poorly because of several reasons. The air filter or fuel filter may be dirty, the fuel vent could be plugged, or the spark plug might need attention. A plugged cooling system, a dirty carburetor, or a fouled spark arrestor screen can also cause these issues. Try cleaning or replacing the air filter, replacing the fuel filter, cleaning the fuel vent, cleaning and adjusting or replacing the spark plug, adjusting the carburetor, and cleaning the cooling system and spark arrestor screen.
