assistance to lift this component.

The pilot is short, so the flywheel can come off
suddenly.
Remove the six capscrews, retaining plate, coupling,
and flywheel.
Flywheel Housing

This component weighs 23 kg [50 lb] or more. To
avoid personal injury, use a hoist or get
assistance to lift this component.
Remove the nine capscrews, rear oil seal, and
flywheel housing.
Remove the rear oil seal.
Block Water Heater
NOTE: Be sure the engine coolant has been
drained.
Disconnect the block heater electrical cord.
