INSTALLING CHILD RESTRAINT
WITH LAP BELT
7. Pull up on free end of belt to tighten. At
this point, only remove slack from vehicle
belt, being careful not to overtighten it. Belt
Tensioner will tighten system fully.
If you have previously installed Restraint using
LATCH, make sure LATCH Strap lies flat on
bottom of the Base and is not overtightened.
See “To Store” section on page 37.
NOTE: To store excess belt after tightening,
place the free end of belt flat under Base.
NOTE: Only items approved by CYBEX are
allowed under Base.
