Infant Car Seat with Base
Before attaching the Infant Car Seat
to the Base, ensure that the Recline
Angle is in the blue zone on the Recline
Indicator.
NOTE: Vehicle must be on a level
surface for Recline Indicator to function
correctly.
1. Pull Recline Foot Adjustment Handle, then extend or
retract the Recline Foot until the Base is within the
recommended range for your child. There are four
recline positions.
2. Release Recline Foot Adjustment Handle to lock
Recline Foot in place.
3. Install Base using one of the install methods on pgs.
42-53.
4. Be sure to recheck for correct recline angle after
installation. If Recline Angle is not correct:
• Uninstall Base, adjust Recline Foot, and reinstall, or
• Fully store the Recline Foot and use a tightly rolled
towel or pool noodle under the Base, near the
vehicle seat back.
