Installing and Removing the Infant Car Seat
Installing with Base Using Lap/Shoulder Belts
1. Ensure Rigid LATCH is removed from
storage and positioned for use (pg. 38).
2. Turn Base over and pull Load Leg out as
shown on pg. 34.
NOTE: If all installation requirements for
the Load Leg cannot be met, you MUST
choose another seating position, use
the Base with the Load Leg stored (pg.
36), or install without the Base. Consult
the vehicle Owner's Manual and the
Load Leg Warnings on pgs. 15-16 of this
manual.
3. Make sure the vehicle is on level ground
and place the Base in an approved
vehicle seating location.
NEVER install this Child Restraint using a non-locking vehicle Lap/Shoulder Belt
only. In some vehicles, a locking clip MUST be used to lock the vehicle belt. To
obtain a locking clip, call CYBEX Consumer Services at 1-877-242-5676.
