Installing and Removing the Infant Car Seat
Installing without Base Using Lap/Shoulder Belts (Alternate Method)
• NEVER install this Child Restraint using a non-locking vehicle Lap/Shoulder
Belt only. In some vehicles, a locking clip MUST be used to lock the vehicle belt.
To obtain a locking clip, call CYBEX Consumer Services at 1-877-242-5676.
• ALWAYS have the handle LOCKED while using this Child Restraint in a vehicle.
• NEVER recline back rest when using carrier in vehicle.
• NEVER INSTALL the Infant Car Seat with both the LAP and SHOULDER
PORTIONS of the vehicle belt routed through the CARRIER-ONLY BELT PATH.

WARNING! DEATH or SERIOUS INJURY can occur.
1. Make sure the vehicle is on level ground
and position the Infant Car Seat rmly
against the back of the rear vehicle seat.
2. Route the LAP PORTION of the vehicle
seat belt through the CARRIER-ONLY
BELT PATH and BUCKLE THE BELT,
then route the SHOULDER PORTION
diagonally across the vehicle seat back
as shown.
IMPORTANT: Use this alternate installation method only when the preferred method on
pgs. 54-57 does not work with your vehicle Lap/Shoulder Belt.
