If you do not hear a dial tone and/or the Phone 1 light is not on your D-Link Adapter, ensure your phone is plugged into the Phone 1 Port on the VTA and disconnected from traditional phone company wall jacks. Check if you can access the Internet from your computer connected to the router. If not, contact your Internet Service Provider to check for connection issues. If you understand your router settings, verify they are correct. Double-check your device connection against the installation instructions. Resetting all equipment may also resolve the issue. Power down in this order: Computer, VTA, Router, and DSL or Cable Modem. Wait 30 seconds, then power back on in the reverse order, waiting for each device to fully power up before continuing.
