To turn on/off handset auto answer
The Handset can be set to answer an incoming call automatically by simply pick it up from the charging
cradle. The user is able to select to enable/disable this auto answer feature.
1) Press key. Use ∧ or ∨ key to select AUTO ANSWER, Press key to enter.
2) Press ∧ or ∨ key to select ON or OFF
3) Press key to confirm your selection. Exit from this sub-menu will return the user to the
AUTO ANSWER
To set handset call barring function
You can set 4 numbers (up to 4 digits each) for call barring.
When the call barring is “ON”, any numbers beginning with the programmed digits will not be able to be
dialed out, and LCD will display CALLS BARRED
1) Press key. Use ∧ or ∨ key to select BARRING,
2) Press key the user will be prompted to enter the PIN code (default 0000).
3) Press key to enter, then use ∧ or ∨ key to select ON or OFF
4) If select ON, press key to confirm, use ∧ or ∨ key to select group
5) Press key to enter, use the numerical keys to input four groups of maximum 4-digit
numbers you want to barring, press key to confirm
6) Repeat the above steps to set the rest of 3 groups.
To set time and date
The user is able to set the date and time on the handset, by selecting the following option.
1) Press key. Use ∧ or ∨ key to select DATE&TIME,
2) Press key and the last two digits of the year flashes.
3) Edit the year by pressing ∧ or ∨ key, then use key to confirm and enter the month value
setting.
4) Use the same method for month, date and time setting.
Noted: If the time and date have been set on cordless handset, it will automatically be set on the base
unit, and vice versa.
To select a base
The handset can be registered to more than one base (up to a maximum of 4), and you can select which
base you want the handset to operate with.
If you select “AUTO”, the handset will link with the first of the registered bases that it finds.
1) Press key, then use ∧ or ∨ key to choose SELECT BASE.
2) Press key and the LCD displays BASE 1 + .
3) Press ∧ or ∨ to select base (BASE 1~4) or AUTO. (Note: the handset will only link with base
numbers followed by a “+”)
4) Press to begin searching, if you hear a sound of “di-du-di”, means linked successful.
To set handset default settings :
This function allows you to restore the handset to its default settings. The handset menu settings will be
returned to their initial default settings, and the CID and outgoing calls lists will be cleared. The phonebook
and TAM settings will not be changed.
1) Press key, then use ∧ or ∨ key to select HS DEFAULT item. Press key to confirm.
