external call by pressing INT key again, or you will automatically be reconnected to the outside call
after 30 seconds.
2) When the other handset or base answers you intercom, simply press key to transfer the outside
call to the other handset or base.
To set up a three-way conference
To set up a three-way conference between two handsets and an external call (or one handset, the base and an
outside call):
1) Either make or answer an external call with one handset (e.g. HS1)
2) Press INT key, the key in the number of another handset (or key “0” for the base) and the external call
will be put on hold
3) When the other handset (or the base) answers the call, press (star) key on the handset (HS1) to
connect the three parties together.
4) To end the conference call either handset (or base) can hang up and the other handset will be left
connected to the external call.
To Lock/Unlock the Keypad
To lock the keypad:
Press and hold the key for 2 seconds. You will hear a beep tone, the icon will
appear on the top of display, “HS LOCKED” will appear on LCD. While it is locked, any key you press is invalid.
To unlock the keypad:
Press and hold the key for about 2 seconds. You will hear a beep tone, the icon
will disappear from the display and it will go back to idle mode.
One-touch memory
Store the number into one-touch memory: In on-hook state, pre-dial a number or scroll to the
desired incoming number. Press & hold M1 for 2 seconds, with a DI DU sound being heard, the
number is stored.
Dial out number from one-touch memory: In on-hook or off-hook state, press M1 key, the number is
dialed out.
Delete one-touch memory: In on-hook state, press key twice, then press and hold M1 key to
delete it.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
No signal bar is displayed on the screen
The handset is out of range. Move it closer to the base station
No dialing tone: Check your phone connections. The handset is out of range. Move it closer to the base
station
No docking tone: The handset is not placed properly on the base station/ charger. The charging contacts
are dirty. Disconnect the power adaptor first and clean the contact with proper damp cloth.
The handset on the charger does not charge: Make sure the batteries are inserted correctly. Make sure
the handset is placed properly on the base station/ charger. Batteries are defective. Purchase new ones
for replace.
No display: Make sure the batteries are charged. Make sure there is power and the phone is connected
The handset no ring: Make sure the handset ring tone is turned on.
