SECTION 4. OUTDOOR UNIT IS BELOW THE INDOOR UNIT
1. The maximum elevaon (vercal) difference between the outdoor unit and the indoor unit is 90 feet.
2. Sucon line must be installed in a manner to prevent liquid migraon to the outdoor unit from the
indoor unit.
The condenser unit is shipped with a predetermined factory charge level as shown in the unit serial plate. For longer line sets greater
than 15 feet, add 0.6 ounces of refrigerant per foot.

BURYING REFRIGERANT LINES
If burying refrigerant lines can not be avoided, use the following checklist.
1. Insulate liquid and sucon lines separately.
2. Enclose all underground porons of the refrigerant lines in waterproof material (conduit or pipe) sealing the ends where
tubing enters/exists the enclosure.
3. If the lines must pass under or through a concrete slab, ensure lines are adequately protected and sealed.
