4 x Initial commissioning
4.4.2 EHS157034 room station
The EHS157034 can be set as a:
a) remote control unit of the Daikin heat generator,
b) a mixer circuit operating unit (as a mixer circuit extension or
as a freestanding mixer circuit controller),
c) room thermostat for the Daikin heat generator,
d) remotely controlled unit for the entire RoCon system (with ter-
minal function activated).
The room station must be connected to a Daikin heat generator
in which a RoCon control unit is installed or a EHS157068 mixer
module via a CAN bus line. No separate mains supply is nec
-
essary for the room station.
Sequence for initial commissioning (see also
chap.
4.2)
● Set the rotary switch on the EHS157034 room station to the
"Info"
position.
● Switch on the current supply of the associated Daikin heat
generator.
After the start phase, the operating language selector is
displayed on the EHS157034 room station.
● Use the rotary button to select the desired language.
● Confirm the selection with a brief push of the rotary button.
The "Setup Wizard" message is displayed.
● Use the rotary button to set the desired operating function for
the room station.
– "Living Room": Operating function, see a), c), d)
– "Mix Valve": Operating function, see b)
Depending on the selected application, the further config-
uration is based either on A or B in the following sections.
A: Configuration for the "Living Room" setting
● Confirm the "Living Room" setting by briefly pressing the
rotary button.
Setting of the heating circuit ID ([HC Assignment] param-
eter) is displayed.
● Use the rotary button to select the associated heating circuit
in the [HC Assignment] parameter.
● Confirm the selection with a brief push of the rotary button.
Setting of the terminal ID ([Terminaladress] parameter) is
displayed.
● Use the rotary button to set the [Terminaladress] parameter.
● Confirm the selection with a brief push of the rotary button.
Standard display is shown (see fig. 4-4).
The settings on the EHS157034 room station are only
valid for the assigned heating circuit (except if the terminal
function is active).
B: Configuration for "Mix Valve" setting
● Confirm the "Mix Valve" setting by briefly pressing the rotary
button.
Setting of the heating circuit ID ([HC Assignment] param-
eter) is displayed.
● Use the rotary button to set the [HC Assignment] parameter.
This parameter must be identical to the setting of the address
switch in the mixer module (see fig. 4-2), that is allocated to
the EHS157034 room station.
● Confirm the selection with a brief push of the rotary button.
Setting of the terminal ID ([Terminaladress] parameter) is
displayed.
● Use the rotary button to set the [Terminaladress] parameter.
Standard display is shown (see fig. 4-5).

er failure (>10 h)
2 LED green - To: Display during operation, mixer module
switched on
3 LED green - To: CAN communication established

The operating language can be changed again at any
time.
All the operating steps for the assigned heating circuit
after initial commissioning are performed in the same
way as those for the RoCon
B1 operating element of
the Daikin heat generator.
However, not all functions (e.g. manual operation, resetting
errors) of the Daikin heat generator can be activated with the
room station.
