3.4 Malfunction of Transmission between MAIN Remote Controller
and SUB Remote Controller (

Error code U8
Error generation The error is generated when, in case of controlling with two remote controllers, the microprocessor
detects that the transmission between the indoor unit and the remote controllers (MAIN and SUB) is
not normal over a certain amount of time.
Causes The possible causes are:
Q Transmission error between MAIN remote controller and SUB remote controller
Q Connection among SUB remote controllers
Q Malfunctioning remote controller PCB.
Troubleshooting
Caution Be sure to turn off power switch before connect or disconnect connector, or parts damage may be
occurred.
