Password Rules
Turn this option On to enforce the following password rules:
• Passwords must be at least eight characters in length and contain at least three of
the following four elements: special characters, letters, numbers, combination of
upper-case and lower-case letters.
• Passwords can be changed only once per day.
• Passwords must be changed every 90 days.
• Passwords cannot match any previously used 24 passwords.
Note: The default setting for the password rules is Off.
SSL Server
Turn this option On to enable a secure internet connection over an https port. When
enabled, this feature uses a self-signed certicate. The default setting for the SSL Server is
Off.
Note: Enabling SSL disables communication with IDM or Venus
®
Control Suite.
Password
Password enables the user to change their password.
Password requirements depend on how the Password
Rules are congured under Settings. Refer to Password
Rules (p.5) and Figure 6 and Figure 7.
Enter the new password and conrm the change.
Click Save to save the changed password. Click
Cancel to close the Password window without saving
the new password and return to the dashboard. After
a new password is saved, the user is logged out and
returned to the login prompt. Log in again using the
new password.
