How to fix Heat Sink Temperature Low warning on Danfoss PTU 025 DC Drives?
    • M
      Mandy WoodSep 13, 2025
If your Danfoss DC Drives unit shows a Heat Sink Temperature Low warning, it means the drive is too cold to operate, based on the temperature sensor in the IGBT module. To resolve this, increase the ambient temperature of the unit. Alternatively, supply a trickle amount of current to the drive whenever the motor is stopped by setting parameter 2-00 DC Hold/Preheat Current to 5% and parameter 1-80 Function at Stop.

What to do if Danfoss DC Drives displays 10 Volts Low warning?
    • A
      Alexis FoxSep 15, 2025
If your Danfoss DC Drives unit displays a '10 Volts Low' warning, it means the control card voltage from terminal 50 is less than 10 V. To troubleshoot, first remove the wiring from terminal 50. If the warning clears, the issue lies with the wiring. If the warning persists, replace the control card.
