If the power fuses are open or the circuit breaker trips, it could be due to a phase-to-phase short. In this case, eliminate any shorts detected. Another cause may be motor overload. To resolve this, perform the start-up test and verify that the motor current is within specifications. If the motor current exceeds the nameplate full load current, the motor may need to run with a reduced load. Finally, loose connections can cause this issue, so tighten any loose connections you find.
