Product and function descriptions
Introduction
This section provides a product description of the CDT30/40/60/90 MKIII, plus a de-
scription of its functionality.
How it works
How the air changes as it passes through
the dehumidifier:
The fan draws humid air through a filter inside
the dehumidifier.
The air is cooled, causing the moisture content
to condense into drops of water, which either:
are collected in the water container
(CDT 30-40-60) or
are passed through the drain hose to a
drain (CDT 90).
The air is reheated using heat from the dehu-
midifier operation (temperature increase of
approx. +5 °C).
As the air is repeatedly circulated through the dehumidifier, its moisture content is re-
peatedly reduced, resulting in rapid, gentle drying. The dehumidifier can run constantly,
or be controlled by a built-in hygrostat.
