From the WEC7 desktop, double-tap the Microsoft WordPad
icon:
2. Point the scan window at the barcode from a distance within the
reading range.
3. Press the scan key or the pistol trigger. The green lighted band
emitted by the imager must completely cross the barcode as
shown in the figure on the next page.
