System Box FRU Replacement
1. Enter Setup and record all system configuration
information settings.
2. Remove the system box outside cover.
3. Remove
the chassis inner cover.
4. Remove the 2.5-inch hard disk drive (if applicable).
5. Disconnect the battery cable from header JS.
6. Pull the battery from its mounting pad (Velcro fastener)
located inside
the chassis front panel.
To replace the system battery do the following:
1. Place the replacement battery on the mounting pad.
2. Connect the battery cable to header JS.
3. Replace the 2.5-inch hard disk drive (if appiicabie).
4. Replace the chassis inner cover.
5. Replace the system box outside cover
6. Run Setup to restore all system configuration
information.
