System Board
To remove the system board, see Figure 3-21 and do the following:
1. Rur. Setup and record the system configuration
settings.
2. Remove system box outside cover and inner chassis
cover.
3. Remove the intelligent graphics controller.
4. Remove the 2.5-inch hard disk and the 3.5-inch mass
storage device
(if applicable).
5. Remove the six standoffs.
6. Tag and disconnect the power supply cable to the
system board.
7. Tag and disconnect the system battery connector.
8. Carefully pry the system board at the three snap
standoffs. Pry at the end snap standoff first, and then
the
center snap standoff.
9. Lift the system board from the chassis and place it in an
anti-static container.
