Removing the left fan
Prerequisites

2. Enter Service Mode.
3. Remove the base cover.

Steps
1. Lift the corner of the Mylar that covers the system board.
2. Disconnect the left-fan cable from the system board.
3. Remove the two screws (M2x4) that secure the right fan to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
4. Lift the left fan off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
