Installing the speaker board
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation process.
About this task
The following image(s) indicate the location of the speaker board and provides a visual representation of the installation
procedure.
Steps
1. Align the screw holes on the speaker board with the screw holes on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
2. Replace the two screws (M2x1.8) that secure the speaker board to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
3. Connect the display-speaker cable to the speaker board.
4. Connect the speaker-board cable to the speaker board.
