1 Remove the base cover.
2 Remove the fan.

Procedure
1 Open the latch and disconnect the power-button board cable from the system board.
2 Open the latch and disconnect the power-button cable from the power-button board.
3 Using a plastic scribe, pry and peel the power-button board along with its cable from the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
