Removing the display assembly
1. Follow the procedure in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. Remove the:
a. battery
b. base cover
c. hard drive assembly
d. WLAN card
e. memory
f. keyboard
g. palmrest
h. display cable
i. power connector port
j. system fan
k. system board
3. To remove the display assembly:
a. Remove the rubber on both sides of the computer [1].
b. Remove the screws that secure the display assembly to the chassis [2].
c. Lift and remove the display assembly from the chassis [3].
Installing the display assembly
1. Place the display assembly to align with the screw holders on the chassis.
2. Place the rubber on both sides of the computer.
3. Tighten the screws to secure the display assembly to the chassis.
4. Install the:
a. system board
b. system fan
c. display cable
d. power connector port
e. palmrest
