Removing the eDP cable (with plastic chassis)
CAUTION: The information in this section is intended for authorized service technicians only.
NOTE: This procedure is applicable for systems shipped with a plastic chassis only.
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the SD card.
3. Remove the base cover.
4. Remove the memory modules.
5. Remove the M.2 2230 solid state drive or M.2 2280 solid state drive (whichever applicable).
6. Remove the wireless card.
7. Remove the plastic display assembly.
8. Remove the hinge caps.
9. Remove the display bezel.
10. Remove the hinges.
11. Remove the display panel.
