Prerequisites
1. Remove the base cover.
2. Remove the battery.
Procedure
1. Remove the three screws (M2x2) securing the touchpad bracket to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
2. Lift the touchpad bracket off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
3. Peel off the adhesive tape that secures the touchpad to the system board.
4. Open the latch and disconnect the touchpad cable from the system board.
5. Remove the four screws (M2x2) securing the touchpad to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
6. Lift the touchpad from the slot on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
