Please note
The lter lasts about two months if the appliance is used nor-
mally. If the coee machine is left unused with the lter in-
stalled, it will last a maximum of three weeks.
3. To activate the lter, run tap water through the hole in the
lter as shown in the gure until water comes out of the
openings at the side for more than a minute (g. 31A).
4. Extract the tank from the appliance and ll with water.
5. Insert the lter in the water tank and immerse it complete-
ly for about 30 seconds, turning it upside down to enable
the air bubbles to escape (g. 31B).
6. Insert the lter in the lter housing (g. 32A) and press as
far as it will go.
7. Close the tank with the lid (g. 32B), then replace the tank
in the machine.
When you install the lter, you must notify the appliance of its
presence.
8. Press the P button to enter the menu;
9. Turn the selection dial until the
and lights come
on.
10. Press the
button. The OK light ashes.
11. Press the
button to conrm the selection.
12. Place a container under the cappuccino maker (min. capac-
ity: 100 ml).
13. Turn the steam dial and press the
button.
14. After delivery, the light ashes. Close the dial and the
appliance returns automatically to the “ready for coee”
state.
The lter is now active and you can use the machine.
Replacing the lter
When the light ashes, after two months (see date indica-
tor) or when the appliance has not been used for 3 weeks, you
should replace the lter:
1. Extract the tank and exhausted lter;
2. Take the new lter out of its packet and proceed as illus-
trated in points 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 in the previous section.
3. Place a container (min. capacity: 100 ml) under the cap-
puccino maker.
4. Press the P button to enter the menu;
5. Turn the selection dial until the

on.
6. Press the
button. The OK light ashes.
7. Press the
button to conrm the selection.
8.
Turn the steam dial and press the
button.
9. After delivery, the
light ashes. Close the dial and the
appliance returns automatically to the “ready for coee”

Removing the lter
If you want to use the appliance without the lter, you must
remove it and notify the appliance of its removal. Proceed as
follows:
1. Extract the tank and exhausted lter;
2. Press the P per entrare nel menù;
3. Turn the selection dial (g. 8) until the

without the lter;
