Example: you want to know how many coees have been
made. Enter the menu and select the
light.

Count the ashes of the beans - 137 coees have been
made.
6. Quickly press the
button twice to exit the menu.
MAKING COFFEE
Selecting the coee taste
The appliance is set by default to make coee with a standard
taste.
You can also choose one of these tastes:
Extra Mild Standard Strong Extra
mild strong
To change the taste, press the button (g. 9) repeat-
edly until the required taste is displayed.
Selecting the quantity of coee in the cup
The appliance is set by default to make a standard quantity of
coee.
To select the quantity of coee, turn the selection dial (g. 8)
until the light corresponding to the required quantity of coee
comes on:
40ml20-180ml 60ml 90ml 120ml
Customising the “my coee” quantity
The appliance is set by default to automatically deliver 30 ml of
“my coee”. To modify this quantity, proceed as follows:
1. Place a cup under the coee spouts (g. 10).
2. Turn the selection dial (g. 8) until the light comes
on;
3. Press the 1 cup button (g. 11) until the
light starts ashing and the appliance starts delivering
coee, then release the button;
4. As soon as the coee in the cup reaches the required level,
press the 1 cup button (g. 11) again.
The quantity of coee in the cup has now been programmed.
Adjusting the coee mill
The coee mill is set by default to prepare coee correctly and
should not require regulating initially.
However, if after making the rst few coees you nd that the
coee is either too weak and not creamy enough or delivery is
too slow (a drop at a time), this can be corrected by adjusting
the grinding adjustment dial (A2) (g. 13).
Please note :
The grinding adjustment dial (A2) must only be turned when
the coee mill is in operation.
If the coee is delivered too slowly or
not at all, turn one click clockwise.
For fuller bodied creamier coee, turn
one click anticlockwise (do not turn
more than one click at a time other-
wise the coee could be delivered a
drop at a time).
These adjustments will only be evident after at least 2 cups of
coee have been delivered. If this adjustment does not obtain
the desired result, turn the dial another click.
Tips for a hotter coee
For hotter coee, you should:
• before delivering the coee, perform a rinse cycle by press-
ing the
button. Hot water is delivered from the spout,
