DEMA DILUTION-AT-HAND EXTREME
800 Series Chemical Dispensers
Overview
The DILUTION-AT-HAND EXTREME chemical dispenser series combines the proven technology
of the DEMA DILUTION-AT-HAND with a new look and modular chemical enclosures.
The dispenser series accurately dilutes chemical concentrates with water and dispenses the diluted
mixture at either a high flow rate to fill buckets and scrubbers or a low flow rate to fill bottles and
small containers.
Each dispenser can be set up to meet specific application needs with the ability to offer:
High and low flow dispensing
2 Liter or 1 Gallon (5 Liter) chemical cabinets
Selector valve option to dispense more than
one chemical per dispensing unit
Bottle filling or bucket filling
Option of a remote gun for bucket or scrubber
filling
Dilution ratios up to 3:1 for low flow
dispensing and up to 7:1 for high flow
dispensing
Supplied metering tips allow for leaner ratios
of dilution
Warnings
All installations must conform to local plumbing codes and use approved backflow
prevention devices. A pressure indicating tee is to be installed with existing faucets
according to local plumbing codes in the state of Wisconsin and any other state that
requires the use of a pressure indicting tee.
ALWAYS WEAR PROTECTIVE CLOTHING AND EYEWEAR WHEN
WORKING WITH CHEMICAL PRODUCTS.

How to fix DEMA Dispenser proportioner not drawing chemical properly?
    • D
      Donald WalkerAug 2, 2025
If your DEMA Dispenser's proportioner isn't drawing chemical properly, first ensure you have at least 20 PSI of water supply pressure. If the pressure is too low, consult a plumber to increase it. Also, check the foot valve and proportioner metering tip for dirt or chemical buildup; soak them in hot water to clean. Mineral deposits on the air gap nozzle can also cause this issue; soak the nozzle and inlet screen in hot water or a product like CLR to remove the deposits. Finally, if you have the 4 GPM bucket fill side with a slow water stream, remove the flow disc assembly from the lower section of the water valve assembly, if installed.

Why are the threaded connections leaking water on my DEMA Dispenser?
    • M
      Melissa Fowler MDAug 7, 2025
If the threaded connections on your DEMA Dispenser are leaking water, first, shut off the water supply. Then, carefully tighten the female hose coupling on the blend center to the inlet water supply line. Be careful not to overtighten. Also, check if backflow prevention devices and/or proportioners are too loose and tighten them with tools if necessary, again being careful not to overtighten.

What to do if DEMA Dispenser water valve is leaking?
    • S
      Stephen BlairAug 12, 2025
If your DEMA Dispenser's water valve is leaking, start by shutting off the water supply. Hand-tighten the enclosing hose nut, but avoid overtightening it with any tools. Also, check the valve o-ring connections; during valve reassembly, these seals may have been pushed out of place or be missing.

Why is my DEMA Dispenser “Air Gap” proportioner dripping or spraying water?
    • D
      David PrinceAug 17, 2025
If the "Air Gap" proportioner of your DEMA Dispenser is dripping or spraying a mist of water, it's likely due to mineral deposits on the air gap nozzle. Soak the nozzle and inlet screen in hot water or a product like CLR to clean and remove these deposits.

How to fix DEMA Dispenser water valve not shutting off completely?
    • J
      Johnny GuerreroAug 22, 2025
If the water valve on your DEMA Dispenser isn't shutting off completely, first, remove the cover and check for the sliding lever return spring. If it's missing, replace it. Also, ensure that the sliding lever isn't being obstructed by the chemical supply or outlet tubing; reroute the tubing if necessary. Finally, make sure the bucket fill outlet hose isn't catching the bottom edge of the sliding lever during use, avoid pulling the hose too tight.

Why does my DEMA Dispenser proportioner continue to draw chemical after the water valve is closed?
    • H
      Heidi WalshAug 27, 2025
If your DEMA Dispenser proportioner continues to draw chemical after the water valve is closed, it's likely that the concentrated chemical is positioned higher than the proportioner. To resolve this, move the concentrated chemical so it is lower than the proportioner.
