⢠Select āLargeā or āSmallā not according to the physical size of the
speaker but according to the low frequency reproduction capabilities
based on the frequency set at āCrossover Frequencyā (vpage 30,
31).
⢠When āFrontā is set to āSmallā, āSubwooferā is automatically set to
āYesā.
⢠If āSubwooferā is set to āNoā, āFrontā is automatically set to
āLargeā.
⢠If āSurround Aā is set to āNoneā, āSurround Bā and āSurround
Backā are automatically set to āNoneā.
⢠When using just one surround back speaker, connect it to the left
channel (SBL).
⢠To take full advantage of the performance of the Home THX certiļ¬ed
speaker systems, set the front, center and surround speaker size
parameters to āSmallā and the subwoofer to āYesā.
Large
: Select this for a large speaker with strong bass
reproduction.
Small
: Select this for a smaller speaker with weaker bass
reproduction.

⢠THX recommends LFEāTHXā mode so that bass interference is less
likely to occur in the room.
⢠This can be set when the GUI menu āSpeaker Conļ¬gurationā ā
āSubwooferā is set to āYesā.
⢠Play music or a movie source and select the mode offering the
strongest bass.
⢠Select āLFE+Mainā if you want the bass signals to always be
produced from the subwoofer.
