Select the method for

stereo playback modes.
Setting : Select the method for setting the speakers used in the 2-channel
direct and stereo playback modes.
ā¢īBasic : The settings at āSpeaker Setupā (vpageī105) are applied.
ā¢īCustom : Make separate settings for 2-channel. Make the following
settings:
Front : Set the front speaker size.
ā¢īLarge : Use a large speaker that can adequately play back low
frequencies.
ā¢īSmall : Use a small speaker that has inadequate playback capacity for
low frequencies.
If āSpeaker Conļ¬g.ā ā āSubwooferā (vpageī105) is set to āNoā,
the setting is automatically set to āLargeā.
Subwoofer : Set the presence of a subwoofer.
ā¢īYes : Use a subwoofer.
ā¢īNo : Select when a subwoofer is not connected.
If āSpeaker Conļ¬g.ā ā āSubwooferā (vpageī105) is set to āNoā,
the setting is automatically set to āNoā. If the āFrontā setting is
āSmallā, the setting is automatically āYesā.
SW Mode : Select low range signals to be reproduced by subwoofer.
ā¢īLFE : When the ā2ch Direct/Stereoā ā āFrontā setting is set to āLargeā,
the LFE signal alone is output from the subwoofer. Also, when the ā2ch
Direct/Stereoā ā āFrontā setting is set to āSmallā, the front channel low
range signal is added to the LFE signal output from the subwoofer.
ā¢īLFE+Main : The front channel low range signal is added to the LFE signal
output from the subwoofer.
This setting can be set made ā2ch Direct/Stereoā ā āSubwooferā is
set to āYesā.
Crossover : Set the maximum frequency of the bass signal output from
each channel to the subwoofer.
ā¢ī40Hz / 60Hz / 80Hz / 90Hz / 100Hz / 110Hz / 120Hz / 150Hz / 200Hz /
250Hz
ā¢īThis setting can be set made ā2ch Direct/Stereoā ā āSubwooferā is set
to āYesā.
ā¢īIf the ā2ch Direct/Stereoā ā āFrontā setting is āLargeā and the āSW
Modeā setting is āLFEā, āFull Bandā is displayed and the setting cannot
be made.

Distance FL / Distance FR : Select the speaker.

the speaker.
Set the difference in the distance between the speakers to less than
20.0 ft (6.00 m).
Level FL / Level FR : Select the speaker.
ā¢īā12.0dB ā +12.0dB (0.0dB) : Adjust the level of each channel.
Auto Surround Mode
Make setting for
memorizing surround mode

ON : Memorize settings. Automatically play with the last used surround
mode.
OFF : Do not memorize settings. Surround mode does not change
according to input signal.
ā¢īThe auto surround mode function lets you store in the memory the
surround mode last used for playing the four types of input signals listed
below.
q Analog and PCM 2-channel signals
w Dolby Digital and DTS 2-channel signals
e Dolby Digital and DTS multi-channel signals
r LPCM Multi-channel signals
ā¢īWhen playing in PURE DIRECT, the surround mode does not change
even if the input signal is changed.
