AUTO TAPE SELECT FEATURE
This Stereo Cassette Deck contains an Auto Tape Select feature which automatically selects the optimum bias and
equalization for the tape in use. This is accomplished by detection of tape type detection holes in the cassette housing.

Switch on your amplifier or receiver’
eSet the Tape Monitor switch on your amplifier or receiver
to the TAPE position.

which operation steps are carried out.

@ Press the POWER switch to the ON ( « ) position. ‘) Press the PLAY button to begin playback. The PLAY ( [>)
indicator will light during playback.
@ Press the OPEN/CLOSE button and set the cassette in the
cassette tray.

» Press the STOP (f&) button to stop the playback.

@_ When listening to a tape that has been recorded with the cassette tray will close and the operation will start.
Dolby noise reduction, set the DOLBY NR button to match ~
the system used at the time of recording.
Pressing the DOLBY NR _button selects Dolby noise re-
duction type B (and the [B] indicator lights up).
One more press of the DOLBY NR button selects Dolby
noise reduction type C (and the indicator lights up).
Pressing the DOLBY NR button once again switches Dolby
noise reduction off.
