5) TOUCH sensor
When the Deck1 or Deck2 SOURCE
( ) button is pressed, the touch count
operation mode is set and the touch detec-
tion count value is displayed.
When "" is displayed on the touch detec-
tion count section, this indicates that the set
is switching to the touch count operation
mode.
When switching to the touch count opera-
tion mode or after the mode is entered, the
"PANEL CHK" mode initial screen (---)
reappears if the Deck1 or Deck2 SOURCE
( ) button is pressed.
Touch count operation when the JOG disc
is not being touched:
It is normal if the displayed touch count
value is between 70 and 300, and if the dif-
ference between the latest count value dis-
played and the previous count value is less
than 50.
Touch judgment operetion:
The judgment result is indicated "OK" or
"NG" [No Good]. If the difference between
the count value when touching and when
not touching is 50 or greater, things are nor-
mal and "OK" is displayed. If the difference
is less than 50, things are not normal and
"NG" [No Good] is displayed.
6) LED, LCD
The LED and LCD lighting status switches as
follows each time the TAP ( ) button is
pressed:

(a) All LED turn on and all dots of LCD dis-
played
(b) LED lit dimly (A1, A2, NEXT FILE and
PLAYLIST only), all dots of LCD turn off
(c) All LED turn off and screen displayed in
the "PANEL CHK" mode
When the PLAY LIST ( ) button is
pressed, the service mode's top menu reap-
pears.
