PLAYBACK USING THE REMOTE CONTROL
The
accessory
RC-174
remote

unit
is
used
to
control
the
RECEIVER
from
a
distance.
(1) inserting the dry cefl batteries
1 Remove the rear cover on the remote control unit.

the diagram on the baliery supply unit.

@ The remote contro! unit uses size “AA” [R6! dry cell batteries
© The batteries will need to be replaced approximately once #
year, This wit depend upon how often the remote control is
used, .

inserted, the remote contro! fails to operate the receiver from a
near-by position, 1 ia time to replace the batter
© tnsert the betteries properly, following the diagram on the
femote control battery suppty unit, and making sure to align
the plus end minus sides of each bettery.
« Oo nol combine new batteries with used ones.
* Do not combine different types of datieries.
© Do not jumper the opposite poles of the betieries, expose
them to heet or break them open, oF pul them into open
fre.
* When the remote contro! is not 10 be used for a tong period of
time, ramove the batteries from the unit.
© If the batteries have jeaked, remove any battery fluid from the
inside of the battery supply unit by wiping it out thoroughly,
and insert new batteries.
® Operate the remote contro! unit while pointing it towarda the
femote control sensor on the receiver as shown In the diagram
lett.
© The remote contro! unit can be used st distances up to about 8
meters in 8 straight tine from the receiver. This ance will
decrease if there are obstructions blocking the infra-red fight
tranemission or H the remote contro! unii is not directed
straight at the receiver.

receiver
and
the
remote
control
unit
at
the

time.

cause
misoperation.
