2. Updating via USB
You can update the rmware by downloading the latest version with USB ash drive.
2.1. Connecting to the USB Memory
(1) Preparation
・ Windows PC
・ USB ash drive format : Prepare a USB ash drive formatted in FAT16 or FAT32.

We recommend a USB ash drive that has an LED installed.
NOTE :
• Use a memory that supports USB2.0.
• Do not run the USB ash drive through a hub.
• Do not connect a computer to the USB port of this unit using a USB cable.
• Do not use an extension cable when connecting the USB ash drive.
• Save the update le on a blank USB ash drive for use.
• If a USB ash drive cannot be updated, replace it with a different USB ash drive and perform the update again.
2.2. Unzipping the Downloaded File
1. Unzip the downloaded le on your computer.

2. There are zip-folder and le after unzipping.
3. Once again, unzipping.
The le must be placed in the
root directory
of the USB ash drive.
Note: When update is complete, the folder name on the USB ash drive changes to "
heos_40.prod.update.done
".
To use the les again,
delete the

done
" part.
